My Precious Lady
Her eyes so tender
Making me want my life to surrender,
Heart so full of love and laughter
Not realizing until after,
She is gone from my life
No more is she here to help with all the stress and strife,
She saved my life more than once
She kept me going in those last months,
Warm nose kind heart
And boy was she ever smart,
Now from me she is gone
For all the things I did wrong,
I went on with my life and left her behind
And for this she didn't even mind,
Because for me she was always there
To be with me and to care,
And even though I may be getting a new baby
She will always be my precious lady.
