Cheater
A confession of a cheater hurts so bad
But then you tend to get mad,
The worst thing though is when a cheater won't confess
It's his family he wants to impress,
But you know it's happening to you
The phone calls and silence both leaving you blue,
You thought you picked the best
But he's just like the rest,
And the apple never falls far from the tree
But it's too late to see,
Because you've already lost your heart to him
And it's now you find he will cheat on at any whim,
It's then you decide never again to lose your heart
And a dim life will now start,
But you just can't take the pain
Tears falling like the rain,
No one will listen and no one is there
So at a wall you sit and stare,
Remembering the good times but not the bad
Both of which leaves you feeling sad,
He says she's just a friend
When will the lies end,
He says it's you he loves
But when the pushes turn to shoves,
He's long gone
Just like a sad song.
