Confusion
You're back but I know it's not to stay
And when you go I won't stand in your way,
It's just for sex of this I'm aware
It's not as though for me you care,
I'm scared of the hurt and the tears
Dragging up my deepest fears,
Can you take away the hurt can you take away the pain
Can you keep me from crying like the rain,
I won't be hurt baby can't you see
And if I am you won't know it by the looks of me,
I let you see last time
And you made me feel as if I committed a crime,
I'm stronger now of that I'm sure
My eyes are clear and pure,
I walk into this with my eyes wide open
But it still doesn't keep me from hoping,
That one day we will be together
Now and forever,
But I know this dream will never come true
Reasons to which I haven't a clue,
Don't worry about me I'll be okay
All by myself with lots of guys to play,
But for now you are here
Making me happy by holding me near,
I'll tell you when you leave
Make me a promise I can believe,
You won't forget about me and we will always be friends
No matter how it all ends,
Now I struggle through this confusion
Wondering what will be the conclusion.
