A Mother's Love
When a baby's born a mother's true love begins
This is a love that never ends,
A mother changes feeds and cares for that baby
Thinking one day the baby will even grow up to be the president maybe,
And as the baby grows mother teaches her the best way she can
Like to prove to her she doesn't need a man,
The baby grows to be a teenager and decides to spread her wings
She want to see and feel new things,
And the mother is always in the shadows watching thinking about her as a child
Even then she was wild,
The mother's feelings are mixed
This can't be fixed
She's scared happy and sad
And sometimes even mad,
Here comes her baby who is now an adult with her own life
But will she forget her mother's stress and strife,
And now that the baby is as free as a dove
She will always know she has her mother's love.
Dedicated to: My mother. I will always know I have your love no matter how far I may stray from your side. And I hope you know you will always have mine.
